About Me
Photography has given me the opportunity to explore the world through a different mindset while also taking the time to appreciate the things around me. I'm proud to call New Zealand home and doubt I'll ever tire of getting to the far corners and everywhere in between with my camera.
I've developed a real passion for both landscape and wildlife photography. I relish the opportunity to observe and spend time in the outdoors, traveling to locations I wouldn't normally go to.
I find New Zealand landscapes can be very complex, the challenge for me is on how I can simplify what I capture.
With my wildlife images I like the animal to be the hero, after all its about them! I thrive on the challenge to capture a key moment or action, like humans, animals can do silly things too.
I prefer being out taking photos rather than at the computer, therefore I take time to capture the best image in camera so I don't have so much to do when I get back home.
